Los Angeles, CA — January 22, 2025 The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures has unveiled details of its highly anticipated 2025 Oscars Season, running through March 30. The celebration invites the public to engage with the 97th Academy Awards® and the storied history of the Oscars® through a variety of events, screenings, and exclusive activities, promising a unique and immersive experience for cinema enthusiasts.
The museum’s campus will be abuzz with new gallery content, in-depth tours, film screenings, Oscar Nominee Spotlights, and The Oscars® Experience, all capped off with the Official Oscars® Watch Party on March 2. The Spielberg Family Gallery will feature a seven-minute montage of historical Oscars moments, while new displays will showcase items like Ryan Gosling’s Gucci suit from his “I’m Just Ken” performance at the 96th Oscars and Ke Huy Quan’s Supporting Role Oscar® for Everything Everywhere All at Once. - Film Screenings and Programs:
Oscar® Sundays in January and February will spotlight Black artists who have been nominated for or won Academy Awards. A series of screenings for this year’s Oscar-winning films will begin after the 97th Oscars. - Oscar Nominee Spotlights:
From February 21 to March 1, attendees can join discussions with this year’s nominated filmmakers in categories such as Animated Feature Film, Documentary Feature Film, and Makeup and Hairstyling. - Official Oscars® Watch Party:
On March 2, guests can enjoy the live broadcast of the 97th Academy Awards at the museum’s David Geffen Theater. Tickets include hors d’oeuvres by Wolfgang Puck Catering, wine from Clarendelle & Domaine Clarence Dillon, and a gift bag. - Exclusive Merchandise and Dining:
