Actress, model and presenter Gemma Gordon has been appointed by FabUK TV, the fashion and film magazine, to report from red carpet events around the world.
She will be reporting from BFI Film Festival in London, and then from Madeira Fashion Weekend 17th & 18th November.
Gemma is particularly looking forward to joining the FabUK team at the Cannes Film Festival in May next year, as well as the Venice Film Festival in September.
In addition, a new role has been created for her by the magazine – the ‘Gemma Talks’ chat show – interviewing directors, producers and actors about their films, in a sit-down style.
The actress
After studying drama at The Academy of Live & Recorded Arts in London, Gemma was offered a scholarship at the prestigious New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, an institutionally accredited member of the National Association of Schools of Theatre.
She graduated in 2015.
Gemma has appeared in a number of parts and has a string of film projects lined up
- Ditties Presents – Gemma can be seen regularly in the series, a dark comedy TV show starring Mark Wingett (best known for his role in Snow White and the Huntsman, the Hollywood fantasy film starring Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron). She also played alongside Ian Gelder (Game of Thrones) in the episode ‘The Witching Hour’ that won best feature in the Unrestricted View Film Festival.
- Cold Sun Gemma has a supporting role in Cold Sun, an international crime thriller directed by Jason Figgis, and starring Hollywood star Tara Reid (American Pie) Lesley Anne Down (Justice), and Patrick Bergin (Sleeping with the Enemy). Shooting starts early 2023.
- Swipe Fever – due for release later in the year, a comedy about “hook up” culture of meaningless one night stands and superficial relationships on social media from the producers of Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
- Mia and the Dragon Princess – Gemma has a supporting role in Mia and the Dragon Princess, an interactive game/film starring Paul McGann (Doctor Who) and Myanna During (Twilight Saga). It will be released on STEAM (a gaming platform) in 2022.
- The Coat Gemma will lead alongside Bruce Jones (Coronation Street, The Full Monty) playing his daughter. A dramatic thriller directed by Jason Figgis.

The Model
As an actress, Gemma’s talent and looks have also secured her a number of modelling roles.
She has recently been chosen as the Face of OLAY. The advertising campaign is expected to be launched later in the year.
She was the Face of Cetuem Cosmetics in 2019-2020, using her acting ability to present informative product videos shown on TJC shopping channel and social media.
She has just finished another photoshoot for the company.
