British comedian and presenter Amelia Dimoldenberg will return as the Academy’s official Social Media Ambassador and Red Carpet Correspondent for the 98th Oscars®, marking her third consecutive year in the role.

Dimoldenberg previously served during the 96th and 97th Oscars seasons and will once again cover major awards-season events, leading up to interviews with nominees and stars on the Oscars red carpet. The 98th Academy Awards will take place on Sunday, March 15, 2026, airing live at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT on ABC and Hulu. The official live red carpet show will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET / 3:30 p.m. PT.
Academy Chief Marketing and Communications Officer Jennifer Davidson praised Dimoldenberg’s return, saying her energy and interview style continue to connect with audiences worldwide and offer fans a unique look inside the Oscars experience.
Dimoldenberg said she is excited to host the red carpet again, calling it an honor to experience the ceremony up close as a film lover and to speak with Hollywood’s biggest stars.
She is best known for creating and hosting the popular YouTube series Chicken Shop Date, which she launched in 2014. The show features humorous interviews with actors, musicians, athletes, and pop culture figures and is produced by her company, Dimz Inc. The company also produces her red carpet coverage, branded content, and Passenger Princess, a recent original series created in partnership with Formula 1.
In addition, Dimz Inc. runs the Dimz Inc. Academy, a free week-long creative program designed to help young professionals enter the digital media industry. The academy held its first program in the U.K. in 2025.
Dimoldenberg’s digital reach continues to grow, with her YouTube channel reaching 3.3 million subscribers and nearly one billion views. Across all platforms, she has a combined following of 16 million.
The 98th Oscars® will be held at the Dolby® Theatre at Ovation Hollywood and will be broadcast live in more than 200 territories worldwide.
