The West End is always a popular choice for people to stay and visit, however delve down the east end and you will come across a hidden gem that I am dying to share with you all…
Located off the trendy streets of Whitechapel and Brick Lane and home to the notorious Jack the Ripper lies the Hyatt Place London City East hotel. This stunning and newly launched hotel opened its doors only 5 months ago but has already been a huge hit with many and they have some superb packages available to all whether you are a business traveller, a solo traveller, a couple or a family and if you have little ones be sure to check out the ultimate glamping experience on offer. They are very spacious and airy and all have a comforting glow to them. The facilities on offer at the hotel are one’s not to be missed and there is lots to do in the surrounding areas.
Staying at the Hyatt was a lovely experience, not only are the staff on hand to assist with anything you wish, they pull out all the stops to make sure you have an enjoyable and comforting stay.
If you have have children who love an adventure and the thought of camping doesn’t quite float your boat, the glamping experience at the Hyatt will be one to remember. There is the cutest teepee tent that is set up in the room where your little explorer can enjoy playing and having lots of fun in their tent with a couple of toys on hand to them and a special gift to keep. What’s even more exciting is that there is also an unlimited ice cream package attached to this experience and by ice-cream I mean the finest in gelato brought to you by the Hackney Gelato company – locally produced top quality delicious gelato in a variety of different flavours. It is very moreish so do prepare your little ones for the flavours ahead.
There is a beautiful fitness centre on site open 24-hours so there is always time to fit in in a little bit of exercise and burn off last night’s dinner. Should you wish to treat yourself to a few cocktails and other beverages, located on the 9th floor is Pocket Square – a skyline rooftop terrace bar which overlooks the whole of the city and well, these views are something else. See how many famous landmarks you can spot and just take in the sites as they truly are breathtaking.
The staff at Pocket Square are extremely friendly and very skilled in what they do and will give you the time should you require assistance on the extensive cocktail list. There are also bar snacks available and the ambience in the bar makes it a perfect place to relax and soak in the views and enjoy precious times with loved ones.
