London, UK – February 24, 2025 – Taiwanese designer APUJAN makes a grand return to London Fashion Week with his highly anticipated AW25 digital catwalk, ‘Time in a Locked Box’, premiering on February 24 at 11:00 AM GMT.
Known for merging fantasy, literature, and cutting-edge technology, APUJAN’s latest collection takes digital fashion shows to new heights. This season, the brand collaborates with Formosa TV and CYANS LED Virtual Studio, marking a historic first for Taiwanese designers using LED studio technology—a format widely seen in Hollywood sci-fi films.
The immersive fashion film showcases 29 looks on-screen, with the full collection featuring 50 outfits. Inspired by the Japanese folktale Urashima Tarō and the Dragon Palace’s treasure box, the collection serves as a metaphorical time capsule, blending past and future fashion influences. Nike joins the collaboration, introducing exclusive footwear into the showcase.
A Global Expansion & Star-Studded Cast
APUJAN solidifies its global reach, extending its influence across Japan and South Korea through partnerships with GD (G-Dragon), Super Junior’s Leeteuk, Japanese supermodel Tao Okamoto, and members of Sakurazaka46. The film also stars South Korean actress Park Eun-hye, alongside Taiwanese actress Dewi Chien, reprising her role as the “Time Observer.”
A Fusion of Tradition and Innovation
Continuing APUJAN’s signature storytelling approach, the AW25 collection integrates traditional Eastern garment elements with modern Western silhouettes. The color palette, dominated by blue, pink, green, and black, evokes the mysterious depths of the ocean, enhanced by prints and fabrics resembling ripples and underwater elements.
For the first time, APUJAN introduces marine-inspired motifs, featuring plesiosaurs, fish species, ships, corals, seaweed, and sea turtles, elevating the collection’s mythical and futuristic aesthetic. The collection’s craftsmanship showcases handcrafted knits, contemporary knitwear, 3D printing, doll-making, and floral artistry, demonstrating APUJAN’s commitment to textile innovation.
APUJAN’s Ever-Growing Influence
With previous features in VOGUE, ELLE, Harper’s Bazaar, Vanity Fair, Forbes, and The Times, as well as collaborations with global brands like Samsung, McDonald’s, LG, and Royal Tea Taiwan, APUJAN continues to push the boundaries of digital fashion, revolutionizing the industry with imaginative storytelling and technological advancements.
