Rising popstar Ari Abdul releases her new single “Make Me Cry” feat. Deadbeat Girl which follows her Lollapalooza performance over the weekend. The new offering is out now via Slumbo Labs/RCA Records, listen HERE.
The melancholic melody and the haunting instrumental at the beginning of the song contributes to its dark and sensual atmosphere before unleashing into an electrifying beat. A hypnotic dance anthem, the new single contrasts Ari’s smooth vocals with a strong, perfectly paced beat, both equally addictive and percussive.
““Make Me Cry” is a song about loving someone to the point where you would allow them to hurt you,” says Ari. “It’s about someone who isn’t good for you but not caring and still wanting them despite that.”
Ari will hit the Lollapalooza stage in Chicago this weekend, a highlight for the artist.
