British pop sensation Mimi Webb steps boldly into a new chapter with the release of her highly anticipated second album ‘Confessions’, out today via Epic Records/RCA. The album features the radiant lead single ‘I Met A Boy’, marking her boldest and most personal work to date.  LISTEN

With ‘Confessions’, Mimi is ready to open up like never before. Written and recorded between Los Angeles and London, the album represents a fearless leap forward — an honest exploration of heartbreak, empowerment, and self-discovery, while still delivering the soaring pop songs that first put her on the map

“I am so proud of this album. Confessions has helped me grow both as a person and as an artist,” Mimi explains. “The themes I was able to explore through these songs taught me so much about myself and gave me real confidence. I’m also incredibly proud of the creative side of this record — every video, every photoshoot holds so much of me. This project, as a whole, is the most authentically ‘me’ thing I’ve ever done.”

On the luminous album focus track ‘I Met A Boy’, Mimi delivers a sparkling pop gem about dodging heartbreak and reclaiming her power. With cheeky, candid lines like “I’m over boys that waste my time”, she turns frustration into empowerment, channeling her signature mix of vulnerability and strength into a biting, infectious single.

Speaking about “I Met A Boy”, Mimi reveals, “‘I Met a Boy’ is probably one of the more unique songs on the album. I had so much fun trying out a more R&B sound, which hasn’t really influenced my music until now, and I’m definitely excited to explore it further in my future work. We’ve all flirted with someone, only to find out they’re already in a relationship, so I hope this song feels relatable to many.”

A standout moment is the album’s emotional centerpiece, “You Don’t Look At Me The Same”. Stripped back to somber piano and minimal production, the ballad spotlights Mimi’s most vulnerable vocal performance as she faces the slow unraveling of a once-close relationship. The song swells toward a heartbreaking realization as she pleads, “Please tell me I’m not seeing straight, what’s changed? Oh, you don’t look at me the same”. Watch the powerful Jake Erland-directed music video for “You Don’t Look At Me The Same” HERE.

On “I Love You For Me,” co-written with Amy Allen and John Ryan, Mimi flips the script on a classic love song, pleading for true commitment with the piercing line, “Don’t you ruin, I love you for me”. She also leans into playful empowerment on “Love Language” (WATCH), embracing freedom from labels and expectations.

Elsewhere, “Crashing Out” — Mimi’s second collaboration with GRAMMY Award winner and labelmate Meghan Trainor, following their playful single “Mind Reader” earlier this year — surges with manic energy and raw urgency. “Side Effects” captures the addictive highs and lows of heartbreak, while the scathing “Narcissist”, one of Mimi’s boldest tracks yet, delivers a fiery kiss-off that premiered earlier this week on Apple Music’s New Music Daily with Zane Lowe.

“The lyrics in ‘Narcissist’ are so real,” Mimi shares. “I don’t think I’ve ever spilled the tea about a past relationship as much as I do in this song. People will never know exactly who it’s about, but writing it helped me finally say all the things I wish I had said. We’ve all dated a narcissist, and I hope screaming this song helps people move on.”

Across all 12 tracks, Mimi surrounded herself with a trusted circle of collaborators — including Amy Allen, Julia Michaels, Jason Evigan, Jordan Riley, and more — to bring her most personal and uncompromising vision to life. The result is a record that finds her standing taller than ever, baring her soul while embracing the euphoric spirit of pop. The full tracklisting is below.
