London, Ashish Gupta once again proved his creative brilliance at London Fashion Week AW25 with a show that was as spontaneous as it was spectacular. Despite being a last-minute decision, the event came together seamlessly, thanks to a stellar team and an audience that braved the rainy Monday morning to witness the designer’s signature sequined magic.
The show embraced the concept of a no-shame “walk of shame,” bringing a fresh, playful twist to early-morning glamour. Models graced the runway at 9 AM, embodying effortless post-party chic with bed-head hair, dazzling ensembles, and an attitude of confidence. Ashish’s signature sequins shone through the grey London skies, proving that fashion knows no time constraints.
The collection’s impeccable styling was led by Flora Huddart, with assistance from Brigitte Koovats, while Amy Stephensons served as the creative consultant. Hair was styled by Ali Pirzadeh and the Streeters Agency team, while make-up was masterfully executed by Terry Barber using MAC Cosmetics. The nail artistry was helmed by Jenny Nails, with Nichole Wills leading the team from Streeters Agency.
Casting Director MC Barnes and assistant Oliver Fu ensured a dynamic lineup, while production was handled by Blonstein Productions. The immersive set was crafted by Tony Hornecker, and the runway soundtrack was curated by Bestley World. To complete the sensory experience, models walked the runway enveloped in the scent of Penhaligon’s “Endymion.”
A host of fashion collaborators contributed to the show’s effortless aesthetic. Lingerie from Bluebella and Miss Crofton added a sultry edge, while footwear was provided by Kalda and 233 Agency. Kjeldgaard1 also supplied shoes, and Vicki Sarge adorned the models with statement jewelry. Hood London’s sunglasses and Marko GM’s belts further accentuated the bold styling choices.
True to the show’s theme, the models embraced their “walk of shame” moment, arriving at 5:30 AM with bed-heads, as per Ashish’s vision. The result? A dazzling and unapologetic celebration of individuality and glamour, proving once again why Ashish remains a mainstay at London Fashion Week.
The designer extended heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made the show possible, including Caroline Rush, the British Fashion Council, and London Fashion Week organizers. The AW25 showcase served as a testament to Ashish’s unrelenting creativity, proving that sometimes, the most spontaneous decisions lead to the most unforgettable fashion moments.
Capturing the essence of the event, photographer Matt Draper of FABUK documented the runway spectacle, ensuring every shimmering detail was immortalized.
