The designer Takuya Morikawa worked for Issey Miyake for 8 years as a main collection member prior to launching his own line in 2013.His works are focused on materials, processing and colors, all of which are created through one to one interactions with artisans. He creates 40 to 50 pieces each season, and doesn`t intend on increasing more pieces. The reason being, each work has to be unique and special.
