Azura Lovisa presents her latest collection during London Fashion Week with a short film and by-appointment showroom presentation. Azura Lovisa is a London-based slow fashion luxury label exploring hybridity and transcultural flows while crafting a contemporary mythology people can inhabit. Informed by the designer’s mixed Malaysian–Swedish heritage, the brand is rooted in folklore and the natural world and committed to sustainable and ethical practice, honoring traditional crafts and deconstructing Eurocentric perspectives. Southeast Asian aesthetic heritage is interpreted via a Scandinavian design approach, with a focus on sensuous materiality, elegant silhouettes, mindful craftsmanship, and holistic harmony with the Earth. Azura Lovisa’s work sits at the junctions and seams of cultures, a celebration of multicultural experience and expression that seeks to explore hidden histories and possible futures. Azura Lovisa creates an otherworldly wardrobe for international identities – for those who exist in poetry and power, between cultures and in dreams.

THE FILM

Premiering September 19 at 10 AM BST on londonfashionweek.com, Azura Lovisa presents ‘HERE–BEING’. The film is a hallucinogenic shapeshifting through states of transformation in the natural landscapes where we meet ourselves – the being and becoming of a stone, a breeze, a wave, a human, and beyond human. A body in clothes and in dreams; A collection of visions, drifting in and out of lucidity. A world where the human and spirit planes coexist and overlap – a place of gateways and portals, where myths are born and currents of magic flow. Azura Lovisa explores layers of reality and unreality whose perceptibility fluctuates, looking beyond the blind spots of anthropocentric perspectives and dislodging our experience from our own human temporality, instead opening up into the ecological–spiritual dimensions beyond ourselves.
