London, 16 February 2025 – The winners of the 2025 EE BAFTA Film Awards were announced in a star-studded ceremony at The Royal Festival Hall, hosted by David Tennant and broadcast on BBC One and iPlayer. The evening celebrated the best in film from the past year, with major wins for Conclave and The Brutalist leading the honors.

Big Winners of the Night
Conclave emerged as the top winner, securing four BAFTAs, including Best Film, Outstanding British Film, Adapted Screenplay, and Editing. Likewise, The Brutalist matched this feat, also taking home four awards, including Best Director for Brady Corbet, Leading Actor for Adrien Brody, Cinematography, and Original Score.

Mikey Madison won Leading Actress for her performance in Anora, while Kieran Culkin and Zoe Saldaña secured Supporting Actor and Supporting Actress awards for their roles in A Real Pain and Emilia Pérez, respectively.

Anora won two awards: Leading Actress (Mikey Madison) and Casting.
Emilia Pérez received Supporting Actress (Zoe Saldaña) and Film Not in the English Language.

Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl won Animated Film and the newly introduced Children’s & Family Film category.
Dune: Part Two triumphed in Special Visual Effects and Sound.
Kneecap won Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer (Rich Peppiett).
The Substance won Make Up & Hair.
Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story took home Best Documentary.
Rock, Paper, Scissors won British Short Film, while Wander to Wonder secured British Short Animation.
Honoring Film Industry Icons
Actor Warwick Davis was honored with the BAFTA Fellowship for his exceptional contributions to film and advocacy work. Davis has used his platform to challenge societal prejudices and champion self-empowerment for people with dwarfism.
MediCinema received the Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema Award for its dedication to providing cinema experiences in hospitals.
The EE Rising Star Award, the only BAFTA decided by a public vote, was awarded to David Jonsson, recognizing his rising talent in the film industry.

A Night of Performances and Tributes
The ceremony featured a live performance by Take That, who performed Greatest Day from Anora. A moving tribute was given by Jeff Goldblum during the In Memoriam segment, as he performed As Time Goes By in honor of film industry members who passed away over the past year.
With an evening filled with celebration, recognition, and heartfelt moments, the 2025 EE BAFTA Film Awards once again highlighted the best of global cinema.
