On the occasion of the XXII edition of the event “Capri, Hollywood – The International Film Festival 2017” the “Capri Fashion Award 2017” was awarded to the fashion designer Michele Miglionico
The “Capri Fashion Award 2017” Award was recognized to the fashion designer Michele Miglionico during the inaugural evening of the event “Capri, Hollywood” event as an excellence of high fashion that has distinguished itself nationally and internationally.

For this occasion on the stage the designer presented four Alta Moda outfits from the “Madonne Lucane” collection.
Also this year Capri was hosted by “Capri, Hollywood”, a great international festival of cinema, now in its XXII edition, organized by the producer Pascal Vicedomini with the support of Mibact, the Campania Region, the Municipality of Anacapri and the City of Capri.
Many film proposals and also European premieres, at the “Capri, Hollywood – The International Film Festival 2017” where the exceptional billboard of 90 films selected among the best international titles but also Italian, have had free access to the public in cinemas of Capri and Anacapri.
This 22nd edition of “Capri, Hollywood” presided over by the Israeli music icon Noa (president of the honorary festival) and the Oscar winner Alessandro Bertolazzi saw the presence of many guests and prizes. On stage to receive the statue specially created for the event by the Neapolitan artist Lello Esposito the American actress Oscar winner Melissa Leo for the film “Novitiate” (European premiere), the Spanish director Alex De La Iglesia, the actors Massimiliano Gallo, Pippo Delbono, Toby Sebastian, Michele Morrone, Valeria Fabrizi and Mirko Trovato. Awarded the singer Enzo Gragnaniello for the film Gatta Cinderella and the directors Louis Nero, Jonas Carpignano, Sebastiano Riso, Claudio Sestrieri, Paolo Franchi, Giuseppe Varlotta and Alessandro Valori.
And still present the actor Gianfranco Gallo interpreter of the award-winning series Gomorra, The Jackal, the Arteteca, Sud58, Valeria Marini, Patrizia Pellegrino, Antonella Salvucci, the singers Nicole Slack Jones, Aurelio Fierro Jr, Lucariello and Nelson, the fashion designers Michele Miglionico, Nino Lettieri and the producers Maria Carolina Terzi, Nando Mormone and Amedeo Letizia.
In the jury of Capri and Hollywood with the founder of the Pascal Vicedomini festival also the Golden Globe winner Nastassja Kinski (Capri Career Achievement Award), the Italian producer Andrea Iervolino, the Oscar-winning scenographer Gianni Quaranta, the screenwriter Enrico Vanzina, the director Francesco Patierno and the producer Ida Di Benedetto who decreed the best film “Get Out – Scappa” directed by Jordan Peele and best director Christopher Nolan for “Dunkirk.
The twenty-second edition of Capri, Hollywood – The International Film Festival was dedicated to Elizabeth Taylor with an art exhibition by the artist B.Zarro realized in the fourteenth-century spaces of the Certosa di San Giacomo.
From 25 February to 3 March, the festival will move to Los Angeles to promote Italian cinema and culture for the 90th edition of the Oscars.
