Celebrity fashion designer, Michael Lombard, once again stole the show during Paris City Fashion Week, albeit, this time in the French capital of Paris. His eclectic designs graced the runway last Saturday, October 2nd; bringing one of the fashion industry’s most iconic events to a culminating end.

Vivid colour palettes and innovative shapes are what makes this collection so striking and memorable. The designer mixes and matches ready-to-wear items from his collection with stunning avant garde pieces that work together to create an unforgettable look.

The show took place in a perfect location, the American Cathedral of Paris, an iconic landmark that pays homage to the designer’s heritage. Models walked to the sound of rhythmic and high tempo music, creating an atmosphere full of energy and veracity. An exceptional detail during the runway show was the model’s nail art. Nails were adorned with cogs, studs, and even chains, further enhancing that blend between fantasy and reality.

A standout look from the show was sported by model Jada Lynn Haia. She wore a long sleeve top with the Michael Lombard logo branded on its sleeves paired with a golden leather vest and matching shorts. This look stood out for its wearability yet also its playful styling; Haia wore a golden warrior-like head piece with a studded choker.

The beautiful Danielle Moinet also rocked the runway in Lombard’s designs in a head-to-toe gold leather outfit. The futuristic silhouette and resilient gold detailing were a great combination against the auburn hair of the former WWE wrestler turned model.

Fashion designer Michael Lombard has truly transcended his own boundaries when it comes to design. Leather jackets, gillets, dresses, shorts, pants, belts, shoes, and headpieces all formed part of the latest collection.

The show would not have been possible without the help of Michael Lombard’s trusted team of professionals, including JB Beauty Artist with the hair, lead MUAs Emma Bright and Chloe Pack with the makeup, and Kristin Rossi with assistant Pearl Salas in charge of nails.

Lombard is recognised internationally as the King of Leather but he now mixes and matches his luxury materials with fabrics, like cotton, polyester, and wool to create a well-rounded ensemble. The designer refuses to limit himself to leather and ordinary fall colours. Instead, the runway was filled with looks in bright pinks, greens, and metallics.

The designer’s path towards success is inevitable and unstoppable, as he travels from one fashion capital to the next with his Intergalactic Psychedelic Collection he continues to push the envelope and wow the crowd. Everything from the construction to the design and even the styling has been detailed with immeasurable precision.

From fashion weeks in Paris and Milan to winning awards at VIE Fashion Week in Dubai, Michael Lombard continues to prove that he is a force to be reckoned with. We’re excited to see what the designer has in store for us next, in the meantime you can find us sat on the edge of our seats.
