It was a ‘real’ showbiz gathering at Bride: The Wedding Show today as recently engaged Darby Ward, of Real Housewives of Cheshire fame, and her fiancé Michael Corrado Jackson, began their wedding planning at the glitzy Tatton Park event.
Darby, daughter of Real Housewives of Cheshire star Dawn Ward and ex-premiership footballer Ashley, were treated to 150 of the region’s most sought-after wedding suppliers at the iconic show.
Taking front row seats at the choreographed catwalk show, VIP Darby, said: “I’ve been blown away by Bride The Wedding Show today. I’ve never been to one before but we’ve honestly had such a brilliant time. It’s like one big party and the catwalk show is just incredible.
“We’ve been treated to a live gospel choir, tried our hand at crazy golf, which I was surprisingly good at! And I’ve got so excited about the dresses I’ve seen! We feel really excited about our wedding plans now and I’m so glad we came along today.”
Up to 5,000 visitors were expected at the go-to wedding event of the year with the best of the North West’s wedding experts; from wedding dresses, venues and cakes, to cars, photographers and outfits for grooms, all set to live music in a beautiful marquee within the magical grounds of Tatton Park.
Bride: The Wedding Show took place at Tatton Park on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd February.
