    Another major difference between the different types of cruise experience is the kind of facilities that guests have on board. Especially if you are travelling with children, it is important to ensure that there are amenities to keep everyone engaged for the duration of your holiday.

Adults seeking a truly indulgent getaway should look out for vessels with spas on board and elevated dining options. Don’t forget to consider the evening entertainment which can range from wow-factor dance performances to low-key live music shows.

    As well as booking your chosen cruise, take the time to pre-book key elements of your trip as well.

    Those who suffer from sea-sickness should request a mid-ship cabin where the rocking is less noticeable. You can also choose a particular meal plan to suit your preferences and budget, such as an all-inclusive package which helps to guarantee a stress-free experience on the ship. It is also worth looking at the different tour options for your destinations and pre-booking any activities that you feel are an absolute must for you and your companions.
