London, February 2022: June Ambrose, Costume Designer and Creative Director will debut her new collection for PUMA’s Women’s Hoops category with a basketball-inspired lifestyle collection. Joining the brand in 2021 as Creative Director June Ambrose and PUMA will present the High Court collection which is available in the UK from the 16th February.

Responsible for creating some of the most iconic looks seen in 90’s Hip Hop era, June quickly gained notoriety for her collaborative work with legendary music director, Hype Williams. As seen in iconic music video’s including Missy Elliot’s ‘The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly), Jay Z’s ‘Feelin’ It’ and P Diddy, Mase & Notorious B.I.G’s ‘Mo Money Mo Problems, June’s distinct eye and unique creative direction saw her become one of the leading costume designers of the time.

Life is a sport, and the PUMA Hoops High Court collection celebrates women and ALL that they are; bosses, mothers, teachers, confidants, athletes, support systems, friends, wives, partners, and more. The collection is the embodiment of bold female energy and refusal of being treated anything less than equal.

Throughout her career, June Ambrose has always held court in her own right. She has interpreted the DNA and soul of an artist or person and what makes them who they are. She’s understood their greater vision, and she has designed looks that bring texture to what they are trying to say.

Ambrose’s approach to the PUMA Hoops High Court collection was no different. She designed a bold lifestyle collection, which she states “When designing this collection I considered the lifestyle of women and how integral movement is to our wardrobes. I wanted to harness the flexibility that we need and marry this with stylish versatility; each piece is designed to work for all of the positions that we inhabit and the many races we run in our lives every day!”
