Following their 10 year anniversary of their breakout hit ‘Sunset Blvd’, Southern California Pop-Rock stars trio Emblem3 return with their infectious new single ‘Rush’. LISTEN HERE
Having first rose to fame on the 2012 season of The X Factor, the trio have gone from strength to strength, building a mass fanbase, touring across the globe, selling out stadium shows across Asia, Europe and the US and gaining over 50 million streams on Spotify alone. Made up of brothers Keaton & Wesley Stromberg (sons of Grammy-nominated composer William Stromberg & nephews of Academy Award-winning art director Robert Stromberg) along with childhood best friend Drew Chadwick, the trio got their start writing songs in their basement, performing at schools, and all over Los Angeles before making the jump to the big stage which they now call their home.
Now back with the new single, the first new material of , the band return to their infectious best on ‘Rush’. The single wastes no time introducing E3’s unique and vivid rock tinted yet unapologetically commercial sound. Opening with intertwining guitar lines, arpeggiated synths and a driving four to the floor kick, the track sets a bright and breezy pop tone under the silky vocal delivery, ear-worm vocal lines and ever relatable lyricism that the band have become acclaimed for. As the track bursts into its vibrant chorus, the track truly bursts into life as the vocals soar over the energetic backing.
Speaking on the single, Wesley shares: “Rush encapsulates an ecstatic array of colors & energy expressing the magic and thrill of living fast and for the moment!
The song came together real fast… Drew had just picked up guitar and played the first thing
that came to mind while Keaton was engineering and slapping together the pieces. Next we
went onto crafting the lyrics and from there it was basically just a really effortless, fun, and
natural process! We always love with that happens”
Having signed with Simon Cowell’s Syco Records & Columbia Records, the bands album ‘Nothing to Lose’ debuted at #5 on Billboard Hot 100 & breakout single “Chloe” sold nearly 500K copies (amassing over 18 million official music video views to date). Following international tours, press acclaim from the likes of The New York Times, Vanity Fair, Billboard, People and The Hollywood Reporter (to name just a few) as well as TV appearances on the likes of MTV and Good Morning America, the trio have built a huge amount of hype and are now back with the new single ‘Rush’, with the promise of a hotly anticipated new album on the horizon.
‘Rush’ is due for release November 16th.
