Chelsea Physic Garden is delighted to announce it will host an exclusive ‘Secret Gardeners Supper Talk’ with legendary fashion designer Bruce Oldfield on Wednesday 18th April 2018.
Bruce Oldfield – who has famously dressed some of the worlds most glamorous women with his iconic designs – will reveal the important role gardening, plants and flowers have played in his life, along with the inspiration and satisfaction he draws from his garden.
In conversation with well-known horticulturalist James Alexander-Sinclair, Bruce will talk about the synergy between his work as a designer and as a gardener, and how nature provides endless inspiration for his work in the world of fashion through structure, texture, colour and more.
From the days when Bruce was first touched by the wildflowers of his youth in Country Durham to the present day which sees him gardening in West Sussex, join him at Chelsea Physic Garden in April for what is set to be a truly fascinating evening of conversation combining fashion and flowers.
Tickets for the evening are £45 per person, which includes fizz and canapés on arrival. Spaces for the talk are limited and the event is expected to sell out quickly.
