Fashion Scout the international showcase for fashion pioneers is excited to announce it is moving to a brand-new venue from September for the upcoming SS20 season. The three-day LFW showcase, which runs September 13th-15th, will be moving from Freemasons Hall, it’s home for the past 8years to Victoria House, Bloomsbury Square.

Fashion Scout’s relaunch will see it taking over 22,000sqft of the contemporary basement venue, with its unique architectural style that combines industrial elements and blank wall canvas, ideal for showcasing the work of Fashion Scout’s designers.

The event will continue to host both UK and International designers across high impact catwalk shows and dynamic presentations, plus introduce a new exhibition area of emerging talent. With an unrivalled heritage spanning 28 seasons Fashion, Scout is the ultimate and largest independent platform to showcase emerging and established design talent during London Fashion Week.

Renowned for championing, nurturing and showcasing creative design talent from around the globe, Fashion Scout has played a crucial role in the launch and presentation of a generation of designers, including Iris Van Herpen, Gareth Pugh, Peter Pilotto, David Koma, Eudon Choi, Pam Hogg, Phoebe English, Roberts|Wood, Angel Chen, Xiao Li, Anna K and Anna October to name a few.

Alongside the brightest British talent, Fashion Scout provides an unrivalled platform for industry selected international designers and collective showcases including those from Asia, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Over the past 13 years Fashion Scout has scouted, supported, nurtured and showcased over 840 pioneering designers.

Fashion Scout continues to run the globally acclaimed new talent initiative ‘Merit Award’ worth £17,000 over two seasons whichhas been created to support and develop new designer business on a global level. Since its inception in 2009, the Merit Award has been given to brands such as Eudon Choi, Roberts |Wood, David Koma, Phoebe English, Katie Ann McGuigan, Georgia Hardinge, EDDA, i-amchen and many more. The Merit Award is a highlight event and acts as a key draw for UK and international press and buyers each season.

Fashion Scout’s group award, ‘Ones to Watch’ is a partially sponsored collaborative showcase, enabling emerging designers to have the freedom to express their vision and build brand awareness. This award gives the opportunity for up to four designers to showcase their creativity to an international audience of buyers and media. Ones to Watch is instrumental in raising the profile of emerging design talent globally. Playing a major role in promotion of design innovation, this show is designed to develop business internationally and has been created to generate maximum media and buyer attendance
