Black PR are thrilled to announce Fashion Scout’s latest series of ‘Ones to Watch’
During this season’s Fashion Week, Fashion Scout has selected an eclectic mix of promising young designers to participate in their long-standing ‘Ones To Watch’ catwalk show. Ones To Watch 2 will feature five designers from across the globe: Julia Henrickson, Mushie Studio, Pindiga Ranjith Kumar, Tara Kari and BERTH.

My fashion journey began during my studies at Esmod Oslo, fueled by a desire to add to Norway’s fashion scene.By Juliaah emerged as a response to this void, aiming to merge boldness, functionality, and artistry. My designs seek to empower women, gracefully enhancing the female silhouette while blurring the lines between art and wearable fashion.
Mushie Studio
Founded in 2019, Mushie Studio is a prestigious women’s fashion brand from Vietnam. Inspired by bespoke high-end designs created for the southern Vietnamese elite, Mushie Studio delivers modern, handcrafted products that are timeless, durable, and practical. Every piece, from concept to completion, showcases the creativity and craftsmanship of the brand’s talented artisans.

Pindiga Ranjith Kumar, an Indian-born, London-based designer, is redefining luxury fashion with a focus on sustainability and craftsmanship. A graduate of the prestigious Royal College of Art, London, where he completed his MA in Fashion in 2021, Ranjith Kumar is dedicated to creating new systems that promote slow, responsibly produced fashion.

Tara Kari, a womenswear designer from Finland, began developing her eponymous brand, “Tara Kari,” before moving to London in 2019 to further establish it. Specializing in haute couture and ready-to-wear, Tara Kari merges innovation, progressiveness, and uniqueness in contemporary designs that cater to both nature and people’s needs.

BERTH
UK-based designer Afa Tsang launched her brand, BERTH, in Spring/Summer 2014, offering womenswear, menswear, kidswear, bags, and accessories. Afa studied fashion design in Hong Kong, graduating in 2008, and now operates two BERTH stores in her home city.
Afa’s design philosophy centers on the idea that “your brand DNA is what sets you apart.” For BERTH, this DNA blends modern vintage style, bold color blocking, 1920s art deco, and La Garçonne. Known for using geometric shapes and color contrasts, Afa creates sculpted yet timeless pieces. Signature designs include flat-chested, loose-fit dresses with drop waists, crafted from fabrics and colors that evoke a nostalgic mood or feature bold vintage prints. BERTH reinvents classic fashion with a modern twist, reflecting Afa’s unique take on fashion’s evolution.

CHEDAR JEWELLERY collaborates with Mushie Studio and BERTH
Chedar, renowned for its fusion of traditional Japanese craftsmanship and modern design, has collaborated with fashion brands Mushie Studio and BERTH to bring a unique jewelry collection to the runway. This collaboration debuted at London Fashion Week, where Chedar’s intricate pieces were showcased alongside the collections of both fashion houses.
Chedar draws inspiration from the Japanese art of kintsugi, the philosophy of repairing broken pieces to create something even more beautiful. This philosophy, symbolized by the brand’s signature use of aquamarine, is woven into each design, transforming its jewellery into talismans of protection and beauty.
The synergy between Chedar’s timeless, multicultural aesthetic and the bold, innovative designs of Mushie Studio and BERTH created a standout moment on the catwalk. Together, the brands celebrated a blend of modern and traditional elements, aligning with London’s discerning fashion audience while appealing to a global market. With this successful collaboration, Chedar aims to expand its reach beyond London, using the partnership as a springboard for growth in Europe and internationally.
