Last week, one of Turkey’s top designers presented a stunning collection of evening dresses in Paris – the fashion capital of the world. FevziyeÇamer took part in the 23rd edition of the Oriental Fashion Show (OFS), which promotes international designers and brands who originate from the Silk Road region. For two days, OFS presented the Spring-Summer 2018 collections of 23established and emerging designers at Hôtel de Crillon – the Paris’s oldest and most luxurious hotel. Çamer was among the leading designers who showcased on opening day. The Turkish designer’s eye-catching collection of handmade evening dresses came in shades of red, black and silver, each adorned with intricate embroidery and sequins. Model AslıhanKaralar opened Çamer’s show in a stylish red full-length evening gown with sheer panels and hand-stitched petals.
With over forty years of experience, Çamer is widely regarded as Turkey’s first haute couture designer. Her bespoke dresses are regularly seen on the red carpet and her clientele includes many Turkish A-listers, including AjdaPekkan, BülentErsoy, Emel Sayın and HülyaAvşar.
Since 2004, Oriental Fashion Show has been staging high-quality fashion events in desirable locations around the world. OFS brought designers from over a dozen countries to Paris, including Algeria, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Morocco, India, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, and Spain.
