La Biennale’s 78th Venice International Film Festival — Venice VR Expanded 2021
This year’s Venice VR Expanded’s 2021 program checks all the boxes—from Big Talent to Big Tech, the Festival will feature class acts like Tilda Swinton to cutting edge technology, which has quite literally made it to the moon. Tune in for 37 projects from 21 Countries and 35 VRChat worlds today, September 1 through 11. The Festival’s virtual exhibition will continue online through the 19th.

Virgin Soap, a solo exhibition of photographs and sculpture by Ilona Szwarc, is not to be missed. As a female artist with a focus on self-portraiture, Ilona Szwarc draws on her ongoing fascination with doppelgängers. In this exhibition, she explores themes of identity, transformation, and the dopplegänger – an inquiry rooted in her immigrant experience.
