The popularity of vegan cosmetics has soared among consumers in recent years, making it a prominent trend in the global beauty market. An increasing number of individuals prioritise healthy and sustainable practices in their daily routines. As a lifestyle choice, veganism demands that manufacturers take environmental and social responsibility into account.

Fresh Trendsetting and Vegan Meet Ringana Cosmetics

Supporters of Veganism are focused on purchasing ethically and ecologically sound products, including food, clothing, footwear, hygiene products, cleaning supplies, makeup, and cosmetics. Notably, vegan cosmetics have gained significant traction in the beauty world, becoming a preferred choice among consumers. In England, for instance, over half of the women – 56% – opt for vegan makeup.

Ringana, an Austrian vegan cosmetic company, was inspired by this movement and established itself across 34 countries in Europe to produce and sell fresh and high-quality products.

A few months ago, Fab UK toured Ringana’s campus in Austria, where we had the opportunity to meet the brand’s founder, Andreas Wilfinger, and gain insight into Ringana’s complete product development process. During our visit, Andreas shared with us the genesis of Ringana in 1996 when he discovered questionable ingredients in his child’s toothpaste and recognised a need in the market for products that eschewed such harmful elements. Driven by a desire to be part of the solution for his child’s health and the well-being of the planet and its inhabitants, Andreas and his team were steadfast in their commitment to creating natural, sustainable products.

Their main objective is to ensure that their products cause minimal impact in the world, from their production to shipping and that they are using resources effectively. It is in their DNA to be part of the solution.

Today, Ringana offers a range of 64 products that are carefully crafted using locally sourced ingredients with natural actives. The company strives to ensure that its products are fresh and natural and refrains from using artificial agents to increase expiry dates. To further sustainability, they also limit production quantities.

In a world where conscious consumerism is becoming the norm, Ringana is a shining example of how businesses can make a positive impact while delivering sustainable quality products.
