London, November 1, 2025 The worlds of grassroots filmmaking and luxury hospitality collided last weekend as FAB UK Productions hosted the exclusive, triumphant screening of “Seven Brews, Seven Stories” at the stunning art’otel London Hoxton.

The event marked a major milestone for Moving Image Tottenham (MIT), a dedicated film initiative under the FAB UK media umbrella. The evening proved that compelling, high-quality storytelling can emerge from the heart of the community and captivate a sophisticated, city-wide audience.
The Power of Local Storytelling
“Seven Brews, Seven Stories” isn’t just a film; it’s a dedication to local talent. The unique project brought together seven distinct directors to tell seven separate stories, all filmed entirely within the beloved Tottenham café, Cafe Lemon. The concept, reflecting the flow of life across seven days of the week, was an experiment in collaborative, low-budget filmmaking that relied entirely on the dedication of over 65 local creative talents.

The production was defined by extreme commitment. Due to limited budgets, each short film had to start and finish within eight hours. This meant actors and directors had to practice meticulously before arriving at the café to execute the filming and wrap within the strict time slot. Filmed over seven days, one day for each short, it was an almost live recording, yet the team executed the vision perfectly.
This impressive commitment was supported in part by the Haringey Council, demonstrating the vital role that local government plays in nurturing the arts.
“The enthusiasm and professionalism of every person involved, from the crew to the cast, proved that a limited budget only forces more creativity,” says [Cem, or a representative from FAB UK Productions]. “To now see that dedication honored on the big screen, surrounded by our friends from the fashion, film, and art worlds, is profoundly rewarding.”
The Perfect Host: art’otel London Hoxton
The evening was made possible by the generous partnership with the art’otel London Hoxton, which provided its state-of-the-art cinema for the event. The Hoxton venue, known for its focus on contemporary art and design, offered the perfect atmosphere for an audience composed primarily of industry professionals, designers, and artists.
Guests were welcomed for photoshoots against a branded backdrop, driving immediate social media buzz for the hotel, before enjoying the screening followed by a lively Q&A session with the filmmakers. The event not only generated fantastic on-site revenue for the hotel’s bars but also created valuable, high-profile social media exposure across the entire FAB UK network including @fabukmagazine, @fabukfilm, and @movingimagetottenham.
A Commitment to Collaboration
This screening confirms the strategic vision of FAB UK Productions, established in 2023, to cover everything from international cinema to focused local projects like MIT. The success of “Seven Brews, Seven Stories” paves the way for future collaborations that merge local narratives with high-end media exposure.
We extend our deepest gratitude once again to the art’otel London Hoxton, Haringey Council, and the welcoming team at Cafe Lemon.
