UNIQUE NEW PRIVATE MEMBERS’ CLUB HOME GROWN TO LAUNCH ON 3RD APRIL WITH STAR-STUDDED BUSINESS ROCKSTAR EVENTS SERIES

Anyone who’s anyone in the world of business is talking about Home Grown, the unique new private club for high-growth entrepreneurs which will officially open its doors on 3rd April 2019 on Great Cumberland Place, Marylebone.
A carefully selected membership of entrepreneurs and investors will join a star-studded group of business Rockstars to create a unique new community, designed for individuals who not only work to live, but live to work. The founders of exciting brands such as Not on the High Street, Seedlip, Planet Organic, Larsson & Jennings, Cheesecakes, Duke & Dexter and Blondie’s Kitchen along with ambassadors including Daniel Priestly, Jenny Tooth OBE, Julie Devonshire OBE, Lex Deak, Camilla Dolan, Andy Yates and Stephen Page are just some of the dynamic individuals getting ready to make Home Grown their second home.
Dedicated to growing businesses, Home Grown – which comes from the team behind stalwart London club Home House – will combine all the luxuries of a members’ club with unrivalled networking opportunities, thanks to a carefully curated bespoke events programme at the very heart of the membership package.
Kicking off on the club’s opening day is the signature Rockstar Series, an intimate event that focuses on a household name in entrepreneurship. Each Rockstar will be ‘in conversation’ with another entrepreneur creating a natural and insightful dialogue around their business journey. Fuelled by champagne and canapés, the series will be a pillar of the Home Grown calendar with guest so far including:
  • Nick Wheeler, Founder of Charles Tyrwhitt, hosted by Ollie Forsyth, Wednesday 17th April
  • Peter Roberts, Founder of PureGym, hosted by Ollie Forsyth, Wednesday 1st May
  • Kelly Hoppen, Founder of Kelly Hoppen Interiors, May 2019 (date TBC)
The creative calendar of members’ events tackles the whole culture of entrepreneurship, focussing not only on key skills gaps and networking but also on well-being, balance and the essential soft skills of the future workplace. Core event pillars will include expert ‘How To’ talks, ‘Sweatworking’ – a HIIT workout, and networking event where barriers to building better connections are broken down through exercise – and ‘Breaking Bread’, intimate monthly dinners with leading experts in specialist fields which will include debate, discussion and delicious dishes. Health and wellness will also be integral to the club community. As well as dedicated wellness seminars, members can attend the Month End Recharge with Sound Meditation and Yin Yoga, or unwind at the Home Grown Sipping School, a drinks club hosted by Alison Taffs.
In addition, specialist seminars from strategic partners such as haysmacintyre, HIRE&SCALE and The Health Concierge will cover everything from finance, through to wealth management and legal – supper clubs, pitching classes and fire-side chats, all carefully designed to provide members with unrivalled access to business leaders and mentors from a wide range of industries.

Other events confirmed for April include a ‘Start, Scale, Fail’ panel discussion with Renée Elliot (founder of Planet Organic), Pippa Murray (founder of Pip & Nut) and Joan Murphy (founder of FRAME Gyms) on Tuesday 16th April, and ‘How to… Podcast’ with Ben Green, head of production at Muddy Knees Media who also produces the twice-weekly The Totally Football Show podcast, which has been downloaded 45 million times since launch in August 2017.

Members can take advantage of Home Grown’s brasserie-style restaurant, the study café, a number of bars, business lounges, meeting rooms and pitching suites, all complete with state-of-the-art technology, in addition to the club’s 35 bedrooms.
Entrepreneurs, investors and business leaders from all sectors are welcome to apply to be a Founding Member at www.homegrownclub.co.uk. Members selected before the club’s opening will receive an exclusive annual membership offer and also have the joining fee waived.
