Bosch, the home appliance experts, celebrated home influencers across eight categories at the inaugural Bosch Home Influencer of the Year Awards, in Soho, London.
The awards were created to recognise this unstoppably fast-growing category, which has exploded in popularity. The ‘home’ sector has long been popular, with interiors, food & beverage, and technology trending amongst Instagrammers and bloggers. Now, the category has been catapulted into the social media limelight with the rise of clean influencers, who can attract millions of followers, and #cleaning being used over 3million times on Instagram.
A shortlist of influencers were selected and then judged on criteria including their originality and innovation, written content and aesthetic impression by a panel of experts before winners were announced at the awards ceremony today.
Categories at the awards included: Newcomer, Trailblazer, Home Tech Influencer, Specialist Influencer, Food & Beverage Influencer, Cleaning Influencer, Homes & Interiors Influencer, and Lifestyle Influencer.
Lucy Bye, Campaign Manager at Bosch Home Appliances, said: “The Home Influencer Category has rapidly become one of the biggest sectors in social media in recent years, so we wanted to celebrate and say thank you to the influencers who are paving the way and inspiring the nation with their top styling tips, tried and tested recommendations, and clever cleaning hacks. Congratulations to all of our winners and shortlisted, we look forward to seeing how you continue to brighten up our Instagram feeds!”
