Istanbul, Turkey – The 7th edition of the Istanbul Fashion Connection (IFCO), Europe’s largest Apparel and Fashion exhibition, was a spectacular success, attracting top names from the fashion world. Held from February 5-8, 2025, IFCO brought together 513 exhibitors and welcomed 33,788 visitors from 150+ countries across eight dynamic halls.
Organized by İTKİB Fairs Inc., a subsidiary of the Istanbul Apparel Exporters’ Association (İHKİB), IFCO showcased cutting-edge fashion designs and advanced technologies, positioning Turkey as a leader in the global fashion market. The event proved to be a powerful platform for creativity, innovation, and business collaboration, allowing designers, buyers, and industry leaders to explore the future of fashion.
One of the highlights was a seminar featuring WGSN’s Customer and Trend Consultant, Tatiana Aldrich, who presented key macro trends and commercial products for Spring/Summer 2026. Aldrich’s insightful presentations captivated attendees, highlighting the season’s color palette and key fashion pieces.
At The Core Istanbul platform, over 25 Turkish designers unveiled their latest collections, offering international buyers a glimpse into Turkey’s thriving fashion scene. The event continues to serve as a bridge where creativity meets commercial success, making it a must-attend for anyone in the industry.
IFCO 2025 also featured a series of stunning runway shows that showcased the season’s innovative collections, reflecting the evolving dynamics of the fashion world. These shows not only highlighted future trends but also provided inspiration to fashion professionals worldwide.
In line with its commitment to progress, İHKİB also announced the completion of the METAMORPHOSIS project, focusing on the digital and green transformation of the ready-made garment industry, under the EU’s Pre-Accession Financial Assistance Program (IPA-II). According to İHKİB Vice President Mustafa Paşahan, the ready-made garment industry is leading the way in digital and environmental transformations.
