1. Please could you tell us about your background and how it leads to the work you do today? My name is Dayo Awe. I never started photography from my mama’s womb so you can rule that out of your thoughts. It all started after my university education and has been fun so far.
2. Where are you base? I am based in London and available internationally for assignments.
3. How would you describe your work to someone who hasn’t seen it before? My style mixes fashion and portrait together with an artistic flair.
4. 4. Who else it’s behind your brand? I am fortunate to be supported with incredible group of creatives with awesome professionalism within their workflow.
5. What or who has been the biggest singular influence on your work? Biggest influence has been my experience. I get inspiration a lot from culture, music and art. I love Latin music, Chinese instrumental and the local strings and acoustics of an African culture. You can see a lot to do with music.
6. Which project have you enjoyed working on the most so far? That is so hard to pick. My team has been awesome on each project and will say I enjoy them all. We have some exciting ones coming up and definitely a favourite is embedded within them.
