Jacket Required, the UK’s only contemporary menswear and streetwear trade exhibition, has collaborated with Fried Cactus Studio x Ricky Also to refresh its creative for the new SS20 season.
Aron Leah is a commercial illustrator and creative director of Fried Cactus Studio, a design studio specialising in illustration, logo and brand identity design. Aron creates a wide variety of work for a range of brands by combining bold and simple illustration with a unique sense of typography to produce thoughtful and impactful design. Ricky Also is a graffiti artist, graphic designer and creative director for his studio practice, Paintshop Studio. He combines these technical disciplines along with the energy, passion and authenticity of graffiti art to produce unique, vibrant and structured typographic artworks. The duo have combined their talents to create Jacket Required’s eye-catching new SS20 artwork.
Adam Gough, Event Director at Jacket Required says: “This season’s creative campaign was driven by social media, we wanted an exciting new perspective so we posted a request for illustrators and artists across our social platforms to get in touch if they wanted to be involved. When we discovered Fried Cactus Studio and Ricky Also we knew their cultural influences, authenticity, and graffiti street style made them the perfect collaborators.”
Taking place in East London’s Old Truman Brewery on the 24th – 25th July, Jacket Required is a premium show offering buyers an inspiring, carefully edited international line-up of contemporary menswear, streetwear, breakthrough talent, selected womenswear, footwear, accessories and lifestyle products.
