His Art statement

I have always been into film and documentary, in particular the darker, sexual side. I am also very drawn to bold colours and surreal imagery.

These factors have helped me create a personal style for my own work. My images have a very unique, hyper-realistic feel to them. I use political, scientific and world issue subjects as a base, going on to reflect these subjects by creating an image of my interpretation. I inject pop colours and a high saturation to add an element of playfulness to the sometimes controversial subjects which I am portraying. My work is highly stylised.

I incorporate a lot of set design and make use of props to achieve the level of aesthetic that I am looking to looking to pull off. Apart from adjusting light and tones, I prefer not to use Photoshop in post-production.
