L Saha presented their ready-to-wear Spring Summer 2024 collection at London Fashion Week in a salon-style runway presentation at The Mayfair Townhouse.

The collection is named ‘222’ after the angel number and captures the essence of ‘balance’ and ‘harmony’ within the Earthly and ‘Other worldly’ matters. Known for drawing inspiration from the cosmos and ethereal elements, this season is no different for L Saha. ’222’ is a number symbolic of duality, stability and strength. It is also linked to the transitional phases of the moon- and hence – emotions.

“We are familiar with the Golden Ratio and it’s prominence in nature. The power of numbers are spread beyond physical objects. In this collection I have tried to connect the tangible and the intangible, through an invisible thread that holds the two”

Laboni Saha, Creative Director, L Saha.
The inspiration from the angel number has been reflected in the choice of colours, contrast and shapes in the collection. From ivory, taupe and silvers to midnight blues and blacks. The shades and textures are reflective of the vast spectrum between ‘dark’ and ‘light’. The contrast can also been in the transition from fluid drapes to structured pieces.

Highlights from the show includes micro-pleated panelled dresses made from certified raw silks and organza alongside handwoven jewels and ornamental details on dresses. The signature weave from L Saha continues to be ‘100% hand woven’ and made at the brand’s London atelier.

There is ongoing focus on pro-planet practices at every stage and process of creation – in line with the brand’s Net-Zero by 2030 target. Since the launch of their ‘Inside-Out’ campaign at COP27, L Saha’s commitment to climate positivity has been applauded in the media as well as through nominations and awards offered to the brand.

Laboni Saha, Creative Director, L Saha – “I founded L Saha in 2014 as a brands that embodies ‘Timeless-True-Luxury’. Introducing Designs that remains relevant for years to come – was a simple step towards making ‘fashion’ kinder on the planet.”  She adds,“As we enter our 9th year in business, we are proud to have achieved several milestones that we had set for ourselves—although this is just the beginning.”
