London-based brand ANCIELA  draws inspiration from the culture of the Colombian people. The new capsule collection takes the idea of the value of life, inspired by the traditional holiday celebrated on the ninth day after a person’s death. Despite their grief, people should rejoice that the soul of the deceased is being freed.

It was this thought that the designer of the brand Jennifer Droguett put into the capsule, because the global lockdown and the consequences of the pandemic pushed her to rethink her usual attitudes. The collection turned out to be warm and joyful, the main colors were calm shades of beige, white and olive.

Huge puff sleeves, maxi skirts, voluminous shoulders look fresh. A fitted trouser suit with a traditional Colombian print proves that ethnic motifs can highlight current trends.
