On 9 May 2026, the press preview of the very first London Swim Week welcomed guests from across the fashion and media industry to celebrate the launch of a groundbreaking new platform dedicated to swimwear and resort wear. The exclusive event brought together fashion, creativity, culture, and emerging designers in the heart of London.
Founded by London-based makeup artist and creative entrepreneur Helen Anderson, London Swim Week marks an exciting new chapter in the fashion industry. With over 25 years of experience across fashion, beauty, television, and luxury brands — including London and Milan Fashion Week — Helen has built a remarkable reputation within the industry. Following the success of her swimwear brand Watababe, she created London Swim Week to provide a fresh and inspiring space dedicated entirely to swim and resort wear fashion.

The press preview also highlighted inspiring brands and designers participating in the upcoming showcase. Among them was Lady Survivors Swimwear, a powerful and empowering swimwear brand born from personal experience. Created after the founder’s breast cancer diagnosis and mastectomy at the age of 39, the brand was designed to offer stylish, feminine, and confidence-boosting swimwear for survivors. Every piece reflects strength, beauty, comfort, and bold self-expression for women embracing their journey unapologetically.

Also featured was Blauw van C, a jewellery brand inspired by travel, atmosphere, and art. Drawing from a background in luxury fashion planning and forecasting, the designer created jewellery that feels personal, emotionally connected, and versatile. The pieces are thoughtfully designed to allow women to style intuitively according to mood, outfit, place, or meaningful memories, creating beautifully curated looks with ease.
KittyNoofah attended the exclusive press preview on behalf of FabUK Magazine, reflecting the publication’s continued support for emerging fashion movements, inspiring designers, and creative platforms that celebrate diversity, empowerment, and innovation within the fashion industry.
