Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) has today opened the public ballot for 2019’s international Test Matches at Lord’s, including the second England v Australia Specsavers Test Match.

The Test Match fixtures at the Home of Cricket will see England take on Ireland from Wednesday 24th July before facing their Ashes rivals Australia from Wednesday 14th August.

Spectators can visit www.lords.org now to apply for two tickets per day at each Test. The ballot window is open on Monday 17th December 2018 and closes at midnight on Friday 11th January 2019 and all applications will have an equal chance of success no matter when the application is made.

This year, MCC has lowered entry-level ticket prices and tickets for Under-16s are available for only £10, giving more young people the opportunity to experience world-class cricket at the iconic venue.

With tickets starting at £20 for adults for the Ireland Test and £40 for the Australia Test*, 2019 is the best opportunity for cricket fans and families to see England play at the Home of Cricket.

Guy Lavender, Chief Executive and Secretary of MCC, said: “Lord’s is one of the greatest sporting venues in the world with a revered history. Seeing England play at the Home of Cricket is an opportunity not to be missed and an experience fans will remember for the rest of their lives. We expect demand to be high for these historic occasions and encourage fans to get their names into the ballot as soon as possible to be part of a superb summer of cricket.”

After a significant overseas series win for England in Sri Lanka this winter, cricket fans can look forward to the January Test series against the West Indies as England continue their preparations for the 2019 Ashes.

In addition to the Test Matches, Lord’s will play host to five ICC Cricket World Cup fixtures including the Final on Sunday 14thJuly.

Key domestic fixtures will also be held at the Home of Cricket including the Royal London One-Day Cup Final on Saturday 25thMay.
