Mama Got This – A new kind of girl gang

Mama Got This is an all-female collective for like-minded business owners. It doesn’t matter where you are on your journey, or where you want to get to, because Mama Got This is more than just a networking club. It’s a girl group, a new kind of tribe for the 21st century, a community of ladies who support each other, empower each other, and celebrate every woman’s success.

Mama Got This is the brain-baby of Fran and Abi, two ladies who know all about the pressures and rewards of being self-employed working mums. Neither wanted to go back to the 9-5 city-life after becoming mums, preferring to carve out little niches where they could do their own thing and spend lots of time with their children.

After growing her online shop through some shrewd Instagram posting, Abi now advises start-ups on how to build their Instagram presence organically and successfully.

Fran started posting videos of family days out for fun, but their popularity led to great interest from businesses and advertisers. She now works as a Videographer, creating content for social media marketing, websites, and subscription services.

But as well as experiencing the highs of being your own boss, Fran and Abi know that following your passion can be stressful and lonely. And that’s why Mama Got This organises a number of monthly meetups per month for its members, complete with plenty of coffee, gorgeous food, and the odd cream cake. They also arrange bimonthly women-only events where expert guest speakers share their experience, answer questions, and provide tips and inspiration for growing and established businesses. These are open to the public, and tickets are available through their website; there’s a discount for members!

Unlike other “cliquey” networking clubs, there’s no limit to the number of women who can join this gang. Mama Got This isn’t about exclusion or exclusivity. It’s about support, collaboration, and celebration. Because you know what they say: when women work together, amazing things happen.

Membership packages start from just £4.99 a month, which includes access to the private member’s community, an accountability programme, and weekly expert guest speaker sessions. There are also bi-monthly bonding activities for members; covering everything from cocktail shaking to jewellery making! Additional packages offer more monthly meet-ups, discounted training and events, and a Christmas party invite.
