Mango Tree, the authentic and innovative Thai restaurant in the heart of Belgravia, will brighten up London on 24th September as they bring back their fabulous Lady Boy competition. Guests will be able to enjoy one of Thailand’s most celebrated and talked of traditions, with lights, glitter, canapés, cocktails and glamour galore. Mango Tree will be throwing an Out of This World party, the most flamboyant one to date that they have ever produced. Expect music, madness and mayhem for all those lucky enough to experience this unforgettable evening.
Maintaining tradition, Mango Tree will be putting on the Miss Mango Pageant, crowning the Out Of This World winner and two runners up during the night and gifting them magnificent prizes. Get ready to be dazzled by the awards for the best costume and body. With a panel of esteemed judges, including Simon Gross from Simon Showbiz, and a show stopping drag queen show, the evening will truly be Out of This World. Music from professional DJ’s, canapes and cocktails will keep the energy up all night.
To show guests a night to remember, Mango Tree will be transformed from a fine dining restaurant to a festival of colour, music, drag queens, pageants and canapés. A selection of fine Thai treats will be served including green curry chicken puff; chilli basil vegetable spring roll with tom kha sauce; pan fried duck dumpling; spicy lamb gaj; deep fried spicy prawn and chicken pad thai to keep guests dancing all night. For dessert, banana cake and mango and coconut jelly will be handed round for those sweet toothed fiends.
The acclaimed bar team at Mango Tree have created a special list of cocktails that will reflect this year’s theme and help partygoers get the evening off to a great start. Keeping to their roots, Mango Tree are giving all proceeds to charity, so guests can enjoy a touch of Thailand whilst giving a little to those who most need it.
