Good news for the fans – MCM Comic Con, the epic celebration of pop culture and Europe’s leading Comic Con event, is back this autumn with two hotly anticipated shows at ExCeL London on 22-24 October and the NEC in Birmingham on 13-14 November.

Whether you are a passionate gamer, a comic book collector, a film fanatic or a keen cosplayer, there’s plenty to see at this year’s shows. There’ll be an unbeatable line up of panels, previews, independent creators and so much more across the known and loved MCM Comic Con locations. Film and TV buffs will be pleased to hear there are a whole host of exclusives lined up for this year’s events, as well as celebrity guests from your favourite movies. This is where the fun begins… internationally renowned actor and producer famous for his roles in the Star Wars prequel trilogy, Jumper and upcoming Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi, Hayden Christensen will be at MCM Birmingham Comic Con this year! The Birmingham convention will also play host to Star Wars royalty and emperor of the dark side, Ian McDiarmid.

If that’s not enough, multi-award winning actor best known for his roles in Thor, The Avengers and most recently the hugely popular Marvel Studios’ Loki on Disney+, Tom Hiddleston will be at MCM London ready to meet and greet fans for one-to-one photos and autographs*. Alongside him, Sophia di Martino, best known for her breakout role in Disney+ hit show Loki will also be attending Saturday’s event for autograph opportunities*! Look out for further guest announcements across both the London and Birmingham shows in the coming weeks.

Whether you’re a Bruce Wayne with an inner Batman, or a Clark Kent but a Superman at heart, you can live out your alter-egos at Cosplay Central. Enjoy a fan meet with your favourite character at the casual Cosplay Showcase. Or for those who have spent months (or maybe even years with the pause on last year’s show!) handcrafting a beautiful cosplay costume, you’re in good company here! Show off your handiwork and reveal your cosplay masterpiece in front of an audience at the Cosplay Masquerades.

Gamers unite! Fulfil your gaming fix and climb the rankings in the Side Quest zone. Whether it’s retro gaming or modern consoles you are in to, enjoy free playing sessions or those in for the win can unleash your competitive side in tournaments. There will also be D&D sessions with dedicated DMs and a multitude of table-top games to sink your teeth into. Budding artists should enter the newly named Artist Alley (formerly Comic Village) to shop independent talented creators from all over the MCM Comic Con universe.

For foodies, K-pop and J-pop followers, and anime enthusiasts, Pop Asia is the place to be. With interactive experiences, gaming, local cultural partners, and anime and manga retailers – this is your own little anime convention!

Looking for something to amuse the kids whilst you lose yourself in all your favourite universes? Head to The Treehouse area to find activities that will keep all the family entertained, including creative workshops, Quidditch demos and silver sabre training.

If you can’t make it along to the events this year, never fear! Digital tickets are also available for MCM London Comic Con, so that you can enjoy the show wherever you are in the world. Those tuning in virtually can access select panels live from our major stages, as well as VOD access to the recordings for 30 days after the show.
