    Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid closes its 81st edition, championing national talent.

    The catwalk at Hall 14.1 of IFEMA MADRID welcomed 37,500 people over four days to enjoy the fashion, talent, and creativity of 36 designers: 21 established, 10 within the EGO programme, and five City Catwalk Shows.

    The L’Oréal Paris Award for the Best Collection went to Mans, while the L’Oréal Paris Award for the Best Model went to Andrea Gutiérrez. Meanwhile, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent recognised Aleixandri Studio within the EGO platform.

    Madrid, 23 February 2025 – Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid has now ended after five days of fashion. The action began with the City Catwalk Shows on the first day and four days of design and creation at the Recinto Ferial in Madrid. In total, 37,500 people enjoyed the 81st edition of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid.

    Spain’s leading fashion extravaganza has just ended after a magnificent display of creativity, innovation and firm support for Spanish fashion. There were 21 established designers in the line-up: Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada, Ángel Schlesser, Claro Couture, Custo, Erroz, Fely Campo, Hannibal Laguna, Isabel Sanchis, Lola Casademunt by Maite, Malne, Mans, Odette Álvarez, Paloma Suárez, Pedro del Hierro, Simorra, Ynésuelves and Yolancris. Álex Rivière, Baro Lucas, and JNORIG were first-timers, and Menchen Tomas was also back after a few years of absence.

    As well as innovative garments by designers shown as part of the EGO platform, namely Odis, Pat Equilux, Bonet, Alineo Studio, Rtama, Studio Cumbre, Aleixandri Studio, Antonio del Canto, David Moss, joined by Sandra Weil, the international guest firm from MBFWMexico.

    The alliance with Madrid City Council, through the Madrid Capital de Moda (Madrid Fashion Capital) programme, was crucial for positioning the capital as a sector benchmark during February, thanks to two key events. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid and Madrid es Moda (Madrid is Fashion).

    The 81st MBFWMadrid Awards

    The L’Oréal Paris Award for the Best Collection, the purpose of which is to reward the talent of established designers, went to Mans. In the meantime, the L’Oréal Paris Award to the Best Model went to Andrea Gutiérrez in recognition of her elegance and professionalism.

    As regards the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent award – aimed at up-and-coming designers made up the EGO platform – the winner was Aleixandri Studio, highlighting MBFWMadrid’s commitment to a new generation of creators at its 25th edition..

    Supporting the fashion industry

    MBFWMadrid, organised by IFEMA MADRID with support from the Madrid City Council, was backed by companies loyal to the event and committed to Spanish fashion. The Main Sponsors were Mercedes-Benz, L’Oréal Paris and Inditex. Iberia and MO by Multiópticas were there as Sponsors, and GHD, Community of Madrid, Málaga de Moda, as well as the Diputación de Málaga, UDIT, Universidad de Diseño, Innovación y Tecnología (University School of Design, Innovation and Technology), Castilla and León with the programme Uniendo Moda supported by CEOE, East Crema Coffee x Oatly, RBA, El Supremo Rum, Schweppes, Solán de Cabras, Gabana Music Club, Mahou Cinco Estrellas, Be Water Home, Elena Suárez & Co., Bodegas Cosme Palacio as collaborators. Meanwhile, Flabelus was the Official Footwear of MBFWMadrid. Other participants included the Rey Juan Carlos University and Rowenta as MBFWMadrid’s Official Iron.

    Magazine ¡HOLA! attended as the Media Partner of the event, setting up a spectacular stand to show visitors its publications, which included ¡HOLA!, Fashion, Living, ¡HOLA! Madrid and Alta Costura. Likewise, ¡HOLA! TV provided international television coverage of everything that happened at MBFWMadrid.
