On 22nd February until the 5th March I had the pleasure of representing the United Kingdom in the 29th edition of Top Model of the World.

Since winning two awards in the prestigious Miss England final which included the Beautiful Brows social Media award,  and the flawless photographic award , it had allowed my confidence to grow .

Angie Beasley Director of Miss England then put me forward for the Top Model of the World competition.

I felt ready for this new challenge & with the support of Miss England and my sponsor Beautiful brows I was able to fulfil an incredible journey and for that I am forever grateful.

On my arrival to Birmingham  airport I was unexpectedly transferred to the business class que and was upgraded courtesy of Turkish airlines!

I think the photos with my sash, tiara and big UK flag helped !

On my transferring flight from Istanbul to sharmel shek I met with several of the girls in the competition and we was chatting straight away and all in high spirits despite it being early hours of the morning.

On arrival to the hotel we was met with a welcome drink and shown to our rooms. The first day consisted of settling in and having a tour around the amazing Sunrise White hills resort, where everything was so immaculately white and clean!

I also couldn’t believe the amazing choice of food , I am a massive foodie and there was no way I was restricting myself and I was going to try everything !

The first day we had our first photoshoot this was a big step for me as unlike the other girls who were used to being in front of a camera or had some experience of modelling, I hadn’t apart from participating in the final of Miss England.

The photographers made me feel comfortable and little did I know would become good friends and big part of my experience at Top Model of the World.

That evening was the the theme night of pink night and I feel this is my favourite outfit out of all the themed nights it was amazing to out heals on and not feel insecure about my height and being the tall one as a lot of the girls wore really high heals or were nearly as tall as me and I felt like I belonged amongst these amazing girls despite the fact my day job is being a paramedic for the NHS.

We then had our welcoming ceremony where we were presented with our sashes while dressed in our white night outfits, this was lovely to actually see where everyone was from and from then on we addressed each other as which country we was representing which seemed so crazy but became so normal the more time went on. So my name was now UK !

I am big into the gym and working out so I managed to get in a few workouts while I was away I feel like exercising is so important for both physical and mental health and got to sample the gym at the sunrise Remal resort where I managed to film my workout routine!

We also visited Sunrise Diamond resort and the montemere resort where we had another photoshoot in casual wear

We then went onto the boho themed day where I feel my inner shakira came out, this time amongst the other girls really allowed me to get to know everyone and and what everyone did for work there was not only models but also a solider, a nurse and business owners ! So many incredible women.

We then returned back to the white hills resort where it was the 007 themed night , I wore the loveliest dress and feel like took inspiration from Kate Middleton for this look.

The night before was the Latin night, then 70s/80s, then the denim night , then flower power, then the glitter evening , sooo many outfits but I absolutely love clothes and I had an outfit for every occasion.

We had bikini completion where we were gifted Drock champagne bikinis and we all strutted our stuff and we’re cheered in by each other and I found it really empowering as I have worked so hard to have the body I have now and have battled with body image so much over the years and finally felt like I felt comfortable in my skin .

The day before rehearsals we had our interview day at the diamond resort, which again was another amazing resort,  I was totally myself in the interview and I can’t believe how quick 3 minutes goes , I could talk forever!

Then rehearsals the next day started and the stage and set up was amazing, it was hard work but with the help of the choreographer he kept it upbeat and the mood lifted, I actually really enjoyed the rehearsals as it was getting close for the final night.

For the finals I prepared with a coffee and of course started off with doing my Brows with Beautiful brows products on the balcony.

I had thankfully been sponsored the perfect dress from Manor Park Brides it was perfect.

I also had a white round where TDR sponsored me an amazing bridal dress.

Sadly I didn’t place top 16 but I remained true to myself and just embraced the whole experience (see video at the end )

Ive gained so much more confidence, made friends from around the world, travelled and have the best memories, so for that thank you Miss England & the organisers of Top Model of the World! It was an honour to represent the UK.
