Award-winning Cos Sakkas and Daniele de Angelis from TONI&GUY added to their trophy cupboard overnight, winning two awards at the international One Shot Hair Awards.
Cos Sakkas, who is nominated for 2021 British Hairdresser of the Year, won Big Shot International Editorial Collection with his Identity collection, while Daniele de Angelis was named Big Shot International Haircut Shot with one of the stunning images from his winning London Hairdresser of the Year collection.
The Awards, run by Behind the Chair, are the largest international hair awards, and saw some 350,000 images from 39 countries take part in the Instagram competition. The event, which was held in Austin, Texas, was also live streamed to hairstylists across the world.
Cos said: “This is amazing news to wake up to! It’s been an incredibly difficult year for everyone and to be recognised for such a prestigious award is an incredible feeling for all the team involved. There was a huge amount of collections from around the world and I am humbled and honoured to win.”
Daniele added: “This image was part of my winning London Hairdresser of the Year and is one of my favourite images. I am very proud to have won this award, especially when you see the standard of entries from around the world.”
