From the producers (Tuckshop) who brought us the extremely hilarious ‘Death Drop’ (and the funny ‘Death Drop 2’) now bring us a panto version of Peter Pan in a show called ‘Peter Pan, the Outrageous Drag Panto.’

Don’t ask me what the show is about as I have no idea, something about Peter Pan. It’s full of fun and laughs and drag queens and jokes galore, something all of us can appreciate, especially this time of year. Why even the drag queens themselves laugh at their own jokes! The audience on opening night consisted mostly of gay men and their female friends and also girls in groups – the audience who more thank likely have seen every episode of Rupaul’s Drag Race. The cast, all ‘survivors’ of the mega successful television show, continue to milk their 15 minutes of fame, in shows like this, whether high quality or not, shows that keeps them gainfully employed and money to buy more gowns and plenty of lipstick.

Starring Drag Race UK winner Ginger Johnson, as well as Kitty Scott-Claus, Cheryl Hole, Kate Butch, and drag queens in all their glory! It’s a story that’s not at all like the Peter Pan story you knew and loved as a small school child (or small drag queen.)

This is Tuckshop’s fourth all drag pantomime, following the 2019 sell-out hit Cinderella, 2021’s Dick Whittington and last year’s Sleeping Beauty – it’s a formula that works and sells tickets. And as the Drag Race phenomenon continues, there will be lots of drag queens out there looking for similar work. Long live the (drag) queen!

Get your tickets now as there are only four more performances left:

    Monday Dec. 16th: 8pm

    Monday Dec. 23rd: 3pm

    Monday Dec. 23rd: 8pm
