London, UK – Get ready for an uproarious night of Regency-era revelry as Plied and Prejudice, an outrageous and immersive parody of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, makes its way to London. Following a sold-out run in Australia, this hilarious adaptation will run at The Vaults, Waterloo, from 13th March to 18th May 2025.

This one-of-a-kind production promises an evening filled with madness, mayhem, and merriment as a cast of five actors scramble to play 20 characters in a wildly chaotic retelling of Austen’s classic. Featuring boisterous audience participation, Plied and Prejudice transforms Mr. Darcy’s Pemberley into the booziest ball in history, complete with dance lessons, inappropriate proposals, and that iconic wet shirt scene. Servants will keep the drinks flowing, ensuring a truly immersive Regency experience like no other.
Produced by Woodward Productions, the team behind The Woman In Black and Jersey Boys, and executive produced by London’s Glass Half Full Productions (The Lehman Trilogy, Back to the Future: The Musical), the show has already captivated over 40,000 audience members Down Under. The immersive set, designed by the legendary Penny Challen (Royal Opera House, RSC, National Theatre), places audiences on a chequered dancefloor facing each other, bringing them right into the heart of the action.
Described as Pride and Prejudice as the BBC would never dare, this production is perfect for fans of Jane Austen, Bridgerton, Secret Cinema, and Punch Drunk. Whether you’re a die-hard Austen fan or someone who’d rather be watching Die Hard, Plied and Prejudice promises a raucous night of love, lust, and libations.
