Watching High School Musical is like being back in high school.
You’re back to routing for the basketball team, cheering along with the cheerleaders, and listening carefully in chemistry class. And you’ll fall in love.

High School Musical, now playing at the Wembley Troubadour Theatre, is fun, fun, fun , and the cast are good, good, good. The stage IS a basketball court, and you’re instantly enmeshed in the story where basketball captain Troy (a fantastic Tobias Turley) and Gabriella (Leonor Correa) meet during winter break but when Gabriella transfers to Troy’s school will they continue their romance? But both have very busy schedules: Troy with basketball and Gabriella with chemistry. Plus there are auditions for the school musical that both want to audition for. While Sharpay (Caitlin Tipping) will stop at nothing to play the lead, Gabriella and Troy can’t seem to make it work, but will they eventually get back together?

High School Musical is a Grease lookalike, with memorable and well-known songs (We’re all in this together). Harry Judd of McFly is the basketball coach and father to Troy but has very little to do, even though he has top billing, while Kaycee Stroh is fabulous as the drama school teacher. But it’s Troy who owns this show with an amazing singing voice and looks to melt the audiences hearts. And with onstage audience seating you’ll feel like you’re a member of the production! High school musical is a must see as it’s a fun night out!
