London, February 2026 – POET-LAB unveiled its Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, “Inside the Lab,” at Spitalfields, presenting a quiet yet powerful reclamation of femininity. This season marks a shift the moment a woman moves from adapting to expectations to owning her own narrative.
Hosted at Spitalfields E1, the show explored the systems that shape women socially, culturally, and visually. Rather than rebellion, the collection proposes clarity, control, and self-definition. It challenges the idea of refinement as something imposed, reframing it instead as something consciously chosen.
Inspired by the restraint of 1990s minimalism and stripped-back 1970s silhouettes, Inside the Lab introduces a new language of power one grounded in dignity after rupture. Silhouettes are clean, intentional, and precise. Exposure is deliberate, never decorative. Sensuality is present, but without performance.
Echoing the spirit of Diana, Princess of Wales “I don’t go by the rule book. I lead from the heart, not the head” the collection reflects a movement away from external approval and toward inner alignment.
“This is clothing for women who no longer ask permission to exist,” the brand stated. “Not louder, but clearer. Not dramatic, but decisive.”
The collection features column and slip dresses alongside tailored minimalist silhouettes with elongated lines and bare shoulders. Key details include asymmetry, off-shoulder cuts, open backs, restrained draping, and subtle hardware, emphasizing intention over ornamentation. The mood throughout is one of quiet confidence, sensual control, and intellectual femininity.
The runway casting reinforced the narrative of reclaiming identity and crafting femininity on one’s own terms. The show closed with Elton Ilirjani in a reimagined interpretation of Princess Diana’s wedding dress, underlining the collection’s central message: femininity is not granted,it is claimed, crafted, and resilient.
Also walking the runway was Bridgerton actress and former elite athlete Genevieve Chenneour, bringing another dimension of modern womanhood shaped by discipline and transformation.
With Inside the Lab, POET-LAB delivers a refined yet resolute statement for AW26 a collection that speaks softly, but with unmistakable authority.
