1, What is your story and how did you become a model, dancer, MC, etc.?
I’m a very shy person, so my mother registered me to study at model training centers when I was eleven. During the training program, I participated in so many contests and shows so that I could gain lots of experience and be less shy. I really feel very lucky when I join in all competitions and get into the round and with prizes.
2, Would you rather be a model or a dancer?
For me, two fields are the things that I am passionate about. It is really hard for me to choose one of those The model helps me to have flexible, beautiful steps and figure. As for dancing, I really like to dance on k-pop music because when I hear some good songs believe in myself and I even want to become a kpop idol, too.
3, What awards have you won in the past, present or future?
In 2019, I participated in an official contest in Vietnam that is the “AMBASSADOR OF VIETNAM AO DAI” contest. This is a competition for all ages and I signed up for my age board. This is the first contest that I participated in, so I was really nervous at that time. But I tried and overcame my fear and then I got the “IMPRESSIVE” award in that contest. Then I took part in a Japanese contest called KIRA CHALLE and luckily, I’m the winner of this. And now I’m cultivating myself in order to participate in other competitions in the future.
4, At your age, what advice can you give to aspiring young people (especially the youth of our generation), in the fashion industry, regarding body image and mental health?
“Try every day little by little” ; “Keep moving forward to catch your dream” are what I want to tell everyone, especially the young people at my age.
Don’t forget to take care of yourself, have healthy diet, do exercise and go to bed early. That’s what I’m doing. I hope they can have not only a good health but also a great motivation.
5, Do you find performing interesting to you at such a young age?
The fact that standing on stage and performing are my greatest happiness. At my age, I want to challenge myself in everything and experience the wonderful things in the world out there. It’s really great to be able to perform and follow your own dreams.
6, Do you have any other hobbies that you enjoy doing?
I have a lot of hobbies such as being a kpop idol, a designer, a host. Those are the things I love to do. And especially I love to eat, I eat more than people think, despite my average figure. but you don’t know that I have a passion for food…I would love to go to enjoy delicious food in Vietnam and other countries around the world. That’s my hobby, how about you? ?Next, I also like to speak many different languages: English, Korean, Japanese, French, German are languages that I want to improve myself more in the future.
7, What career path do you think you will choose when you grow up?
I will continue my career in many different roles. I’d like to acquire so much knowledge, challenge myself in each different roles
8, How far have you come in your career?
When I look back on 2019, it’s really been a long time for me, but it has passed very quickly. Recently, I have gained in myself skills and experience, although not much, but have improved a lot compared to the previous year. with 2.3 years ago. Looking back at me back in the day and now, there have really been many new changes in skills, facial expressions and experience. And I think I should try harder so that you can go further in your career now and in the future.
9, Do you want to go further in your career and how do you plan to do it?
Of course. I am cultivating myself every day and always keep moving forward. I’m trying to learn some interesting courses which are useful and help me in the future.
10, Do you believe that your career choice will affect not only you in a positive way but also others?
that will definitely affect the people I hold most dear like my mother
11, Who are your inspirational role models inside and outside the fashion industry?
In the fashion industry and outside the fashion industry, there are many people who inspire me, including teachers who are teaching me, supermodel Vo Hoang Yen, supermodel Minh Tu, Miss VietNam 2018 Tran Tieu Vy, Miss Universe Vietnam 2015 Pham Huong, Miss Universe Vietnam 2019 Nguyen Tran Khanh Van and especially my favorite boy band BTS. They inspire me and teach me a lot like skills, experiences, professional ethics and lifestyle.
12, Who would you most like to thank for always being by your side inside and outside of your career?
To have success like today, I really want to thank my mother, who always cheers and encourages me when I am self-deprecating about something, my mother never compliments me because she knows that when I hear criticisms, my efforts will increase a lot and she uses those words to help me try every day, When I was depressed or had low self-esteem, she told me that “When you shine, wherever you are, you will shine”. This saying from my mother made me stronger and continued.
