The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios and is set to premiere worldwide on 15 July 2026.
A high-stakes friendship on the run
Ride or Die follows lifelong best friends Debbie Claybourne and Judith Burton—played by Octavia Spencer and Hannah Waddingham—whose ordinary friendship takes a deadly turn when it’s revealed that Judith is secretly an international assassin.
When a figure from Judith’s past resurfaces and a hit goes wrong, the pair are forced to flee together. What follows is a fast-paced road trip across Europe, with law enforcement, trained killers, and dangerous criminals in pursuit—turning their friendship into a fight for survival.

The series is created, written, and executive produced by Tessa Coates, with Matt Miller serving as showrunner.
Release
Ride or Die will launch globally as a full eight-episode season on Prime Video on July 15, 2026.
