RPMM Porto Announce Full Lineup Adding Matt Tolfrey, Margaret Dygas, Barac, D’Julz, Mella Dee, Varhat, Jasper James, Matthias Tanzmann, Robin Ordell, Art Department, Patrice Scott & Many More…

The much anticipated RPMM Festival in Porto today announces the final names for its first edition on July 28th and 29th 2018. These include Jackmaster, Matt Tolfrey, Margaret Dygas, Barac, D’Julz, Mella Dee, Patrice Scott, Jasper James, Matthias Tanzmann, Art Department, Death on the Balcony, Kenny Glasgow, Nitin, Robin Ordell, Geddes, Varhat, Alexis Raphael and many more.

Shaping up to be a tasteful showcase of over 50 local and international underground artists plus production from artistic director Jonny TV, RPMM is set to be an expressionist heaven. It takes place at the beautiful and historic Alfandega, across a 12th century UNESCO Heritage site, as well as at various other satellite venues around Porto, and will allow you to soak up the music as well as plenty of delights the city has to offer.

The latest wave of names brings more world-class talents to the festival, including Scottish party starters Jackmaster and Jasper James, Leftroom label boss Matt Tolfrey, No 19’s agenda-setting Jonny White aka Art Department and his former collaborator turned solo artist Kenny Glasgow, as well as Circo Loco long-standing resident Matthias Tanzmann.

More minimal sounds will come from stage partner MEOKO who bring revered Romanian Barac, Arupa label favourite Joseph Williams, French tastemaker Varhat and Portuguese minimal star Cleymoore and Geddes. Partners Half Baked will bring the ever favourite lady of minimal Margaret Dygas and label resident Robin Ordell whilst Ibiza Voice and Keep On Dancing to host even more huge talent with the likes Bass Culture’s D’Julz, Detroit’s deep house don Patrice Scott, lo-fi favourite Mella Dee and plenty more.

All of these artists come on top of the already revealed Âme DJ, Matthew Dear, Francesca Lombardo, Guy Gerber and Damian Lazarus, and will be presented to you by stage hosts such as Half Baked, MEOKO, Ibiza Voice, Keep On Dancing, MusiK@ll, You Are We and more.

Next to the fantastic musical offerings of RPMM, Porto itself offers many great cultural attractions including record shops like Vinyl Disc, Harborage, Porto Calling and Musak Record Shop, plus a wealth of cultured bars in the city centre that offer indoor drinking and dancing or places to relax on the streets and take in the town. Plenty of clubs such as Baxia Bar, Plano B, Gare Porto and live music spots like Rum and Hot Five Jazz Spot offer a wealth of opportunities to soak up the local music scene, and it’s also worth a walking tour through the medieval streets of Porto’s Downtown, eating fish at Matosinhos and watching the city from the best viewpoint, Serra do Pilar.

With the line-up now complete, the countdown can now begin for what promises to be Europe’s best new underground festival.
