Karen Radley, Founder and Managing Director of Scoop commented; “I am extremely proud that a number of designers have selected Scoop as a platform to launch their collections this season. Scoop is a wonderful show and offers leading retailers a curated edit of the very best new designer collections.”

The show welcomed premium department stores from across the globe including Harvey Nichols, Brown Thomas, John Lewis, Voisins, Galeries Lafayette, Beymen and Le Bon Marche as well as independent boutiques such as Aria Boutique, Bernard Boutique, Found, Iris Fashion, Jules B, Sue Parkinson and Young Ideas. Buyers and retailers also travelled from Ireland with stores such as McElhinneys, Emporium Kalu, Elegance, Les Jumelles, Olori and Loulerie, enjoying this season’s edit.

Launching exclusively at the show Ossie Clark x Primrose Park presented a beautiful collection of dresses, blouses and skirts in the iconic Ossie Clark cuts such as plunging necklines, billowing sleeves, figure-hugging waists, and swirling skirts. Exquisite clashing prints on feminine fabrics offered a modern and romantic feel.

Based in the UK, ready-to-wear womenswear label, Edward Mongzar specialises in luxury, handcrafted and ethically conscious pieces. Priding himself upon creating pieces that are gentle, ethereal and poised, the collection was launched at Scoop this season. Edward adheres to a strict ethical code, using up-cycled leather for garments and recycled materials for packaging to minimise the environmental impact of his production process.

Edward mongzarAlso new to the show, Serena Bute, presented a collection of trousers with striking detailing and on-trend shirts offering the perfect building blocks for a sports luxe wardrobe. Admired by top models and A-List celebrities the collection was wonderfully received by buyers and retailers in attendance.

Designed in London, PS Paul Smith, the new, youthful women’s collection was defined by signatures of bold colour, print and sharp tailoring.

Channelling the fashion genius of his late uncle Lee Alexander McQueen, Gary James McQueen presented an exquisite range of made-to-order silk printed scarves which draw inspiration from, and pay tribute to, his experience working alongside his uncle. McQueen presented the collection and an artistic installation featuring his iconic artwork during the show and discussed his career with Caryn Franklin MBE during an inspirational talk to buyers and retailers.

This season Scoop collaborated with the V&A to celebrate the opulent floral prints of 19th -century textile designer William Kilburn. The entrance to the show was dressed in the beautiful print and lined with a floral display making a popular Instagram backdrop for visitors.

The next edition of Scoop will take place on 21st – 23rd July 2019 at the Saatchi Gallery, London.
