Scoop drew to a successful close at Olympia National on Tuesday 15th July 2025, wrapping up three inspiring days of fashion, creativity, and connection. The July show, ‘The Magical Edition’, lived up to its name, delivering a whimsical and carefully curated showcase of over 200 premium, contemporary designer collections and drawing an enthusiastic crowd of prestigious fashion buyers and retailers. With a dynamic atmosphere and strong business momentum throughout, the final day ended on a high, as visitors celebrated new discoveries and looked ahead to the next edition with excitement.

From standout independents such as Matthew Williamson, Cordelia James, Chattertons, Cavells, The Dressing Room, Bob & Ted, Sister, Anya, Doyle’s, Sass & Edge, Browns, The Mercantile to major department stores including El Corte Inglés, Galeries LaFayette, Printemps, Anthropologie, Le Bon Marche, Fenwick, John Lewis, Frasers, Voisins, Morley Stores, Macbees, the event welcomed an exceptional roster of buyers from the UK, Ireland, and further afield including the Caribbean, Far East and Japan, all captivated by the creativity on show.

From the moment they entered visitors were swept up in Scoop’s unique magic, with buyers, stylists, and fashion insiders describing their experience as inspiring, energising, and full of unexpected discoveries. Anna Berkeley, Stylist, Founder & writer for the Financial Times said, “I have really loved being at Scoop today! As soon as I walked in there was a lovely energy. There are tons of unique and beautiful collections, amazing accessories, and lots of designers I’ve not seen before, which is always exciting. I’ve been rummaging to my heart’s content. I think Scoop is one of the best trade shows there is!”

Pamela Shiffer commented, “The layout is gorgeous as it is calm and spacious so you can see clearly what’s on offer and easily get to the designer stands. There has been a really good edit of collections, put together in a way that is easy to work with and lots of price points which is great. I have placed orders with new designers as well as some top ups with quite a few existing collections. The food was amazing too, kept us fuelled up!”

Alice Sordello, Galeries LaFayette, Paris said, “I like that it is a really intimate show. You can easily speak to new designers and designers you already work with in a relaxed environment and with time to see the products. I loved all the colours and shapes. I particularly like the tailoring of Won Hundred jackets and the shape of their denim, which was easy to wear with a twist of fashion to it. All the designers were so friendly and welcoming.”

Saba Haider, Anthropologie, London commented, “The Show felt very fresh, new and inviting. The collections were very fun, and we have come away with lots of new ideas. We have been meeting lots of new people and connected with existing designers!”

The strong sentiment echoed by buyers throughout the show was shared by Scoop’s Founder and Managing Director, Karen Radley, who reflected on what made this season stand out. “This season’s show has been truly special! The atmosphere, the collections, and the energy from our visitors have all been exceptional,” said Radley. “There’s been a real sense of discovery and optimism, and it’s been wonderful to see so many new connections made, and relationships strengthened. One of the most rewarding parts is discovering new collections and giving emerging and international designers a platform, helping to support them as they grow and enter the UK market. This season, we’ve welcomed buyers from all over the UK, Europe and Far East which has added to the vibrant, international buzz of the event. The Magical Edition has been one of our most vibrant yet, and I’m already excited for what’s to come next season.”

Echoing this enthusiasm, designers also shared their excitement and appreciation for the show’s dynamic atmosphere, valuable connections, and the incredible response to their collections. Estelle Bauer, Stephane Kelian commented, “This is my first time at Scoop and it’s been wonderful! I have met a lot of great and interesting contacts. Launching a French collection that is quite expensive can be difficult but here it has received incredible feedback. Everybody was so nice and wonderful. I do a lot of fairs including Germany and Tokyo, Scoop really stands out, the atmosphere is warm, and the entire show is beautiful. I would definitely like to return in February.”

Maria Alvares Rilla, Sophie and Lucie commented, “Scoop for me is the most beautiful show you can go to in Europe, it is boutique and so well curated. What Karen Radley does at Scoop is to act as a host, so you feel you are part of something special and very personal. The show has its own rhythm, you can work steadily here without feeling overcrowded but meeting all the right boutiques and stores. For Sophie and Lucie it is an important show, and the UK is becoming one of our most important markets.”

Alex Radford, Palladio Associates said, “Yesterday was super busy, Vilagallo, Dream Catcher and Orfeo Paris were strong. Yesterday we saw a lot of good buyers, today we have seen French department stores. The layout this season is better, the wider aisles make it easier for the buyers and shows the collections better and make it easier to do business.”

Sam Hunt and Tara Marie Roche, Écotorie said, “Scoop has been brilliant. We’ve written orders, seen old friends and new customers, so we couldn’t be happier. It’s been the right type of retailers too, more premium, from lovely areas like Richmond, Chiswick, Norwich, Ireland, Scotland and overseas as well. It’s got a really wonderful atmosphere here and we’ve been put in a location, with great collections around us, that has really benefited us. Scoop is the only show, it looks really attractive, it’s nicely curated. It’s been amazing!”

Louise Lace, Woden commented, “Scoop has been amazing. We are returning after 10 years, this has been really welcomed by Woden, it’s given us the chance to try something new, explore, find new customers, and reconnect with existing ones. We had appointments booked in, saw new faces, and wrote many orders, including from buyers who haven’t purchased from us in a few seasons. Overall, it’s been super successful and brilliant. We’ll be back again, and we’d love to double our stand size next time.”

Fatima Karagussova and Bethany Woolsop, Self Service, La Maise, Spell, Moses, Bohemian Traders and Amazing Folklore. Fatima said, “We have had a great show across all of our collections. We have taken orders from independents across the UK, and we are delighted!” Bethany added, “We’ve had a great show. We’ve written lots of orders and spoken to incredible customers, Anthropologie, Galeries LaFayette and many more.”

The next edition of Scoop will take place 8th-10th February 2026 at Olympia National.
