CELEBRATING LOCAL TALENT STARTS WITH US
This is more than just a press release. This is a call to INSPIRE YOU to celebrate local talent. Washington is one of the greatest creative talent pools in the world and we are continually developing talent for other regions. The unfortunate truth is that we haven’t built an environment where our homegrown talent can grow, thrive, or survive working locally. This breakdown has happened on multiple layers of the industry. Work is being done by state, county, and local officials and businesses to fix these issues, but today’s outreach is where YOU CAN HELP. The media is one of the few direct ways that creatives can feel celebrated by local industry.
MY ASK OF YOU! Please have an individual or team from your organization join us for one of our two VIP Red Carpet sessions inside the Regal Cinemas lobby either Friday September 6, 8:00 – 9:00 PM, or Saturday September 7, 5:00 – 6:00 PM. This RSVP only red carpet walk will celebrate 64 locally made short films in 8 blocks between Friday and Saturday.
The talent in these projects represent over 500 filmmakers and creatives from the Northwest.
We’re asking you to help us turn the dial and help celebrate the foundational creators who will be the future of the local entertainment industry.
